You guys HAVE to check out Tara Mor's new drink lineup!! If you're looking for a sophisticated date night or a classy friend catchup this is the place to be. They captured a timeless vibe while they combine American cuisine with their Irish roots. Also known as Alligator Pear, @taramor has made some impressive updates to their drink lineup that you guys have to try. Starting off strong with the "Floozie in the Jacuzzi" I loved the fruitiness of the blackberry foam. And y'all know I'm a tequila girl so the "Sam Said So" was a must try that gave spicy margarita vibes. Although we were mostly there for drinks, I couldn't resist trying some of their food menus and it did NOT disappoint. The Caesar salad was delicious, the Calamari perfectly crispy and light and my strip steak was to die for. I was so stuffed that I took some home but I was so disappointed that I forgot to ask for the sauce to go because it literally made the dish. I would definitely recommend trying them out if you're ever in the Madison Square Garden area for a pre game/show meal or stop in afterwards to celebrate (or commiserate) on a win lol Thank you @taramor for having me and as always this post for later and join me for more foodie adventures. What We Had * Mr. Exechequer * Sam Said So * Floozie in the Jacuzzi * Naughty Years * Page Three Demur * What Doesn't Kill You * Pickle Martini * Feta & Pineapple Martini * Fried Calamari * Caesar Salad * Pan Roasted Atlantic Salmon * NY Strip Steak

Highly highly recommend this spot especially for an event. Steph and Ali made planning my joint birthday party with my roommate so incredibly easy. I had inquired about a couple different rooms and group sizes but they were so patient and sent over a lot of details and pictures to help me decide. Once I chose a room they sent the contract over and it was pretty much settled! We rented out the speakeasy and had the entire space to ourselves. The night of, Young and Tommy were our bartenders and they were phenomenal. The espresso martini here is so good - I had 3 of these LOL. We had control over the aux which was fun to be able to play our own music. They also let us bring 2 outside cakes. So many of my friends also loved the venue - we got a lot of compliments throughout the night! This was the second event I've attended at Alligator Pear (first one as an attendee). The host of the first event also had a super pleasant experience working with the event planning team so it seems like they know their stuff :)

I celebrated my birthday dinner with 17 guests during the holiday season in one of their private spaces, the Oak Room. This is one of the few places in NYC that doesn't charge an arm and a leg for a semi-private or private dining experience. That's a win in my book! From the beginning, communicating with their event coordinator, Steph, was a breeze. We went through all the event details and contract fine print over email, which made everything super easy to organize. Plus, I got to visit the space beforehand to make sure it was the perfect setting for my big night. I had the option of serving my guests a prix fixe menu, but I went with family-style dining and made my menu selections a few days prior. Overall, the food and drinks were tasty, though some of the portions could've been a little bigger considering the price. The Oak Room was beautifully decorated with Christmas cheer, which was a lovely surprise. I also brought in my own decor, including balloons and flowers. I did request tapered candles, but they didn't have them on hand that day. However, the staff improvised with other candles, and honestly, it all worked out. The staff was attentive, friendly, and best of all, not overbearing. They allowed us to enjoy the celebration without interrupting our fun, which was much appreciated. They even surprised us with free champagne to celebrate our engagement. We never felt rushed and some of us even stayed behind way after the party ended to enjoy some additional drinks. All in all, I had a truly memorable birthday dinner, and my guests had a great time too. I highly recommend Alligator Pear (Tara Mór) for your next event!

I enjoyed this spot for lunch, I expected better of the gnocchi, but at least there's a cool lunch deal. They are thinking of changing the name which o think is a mistake. It's in a peculiar location for the great vibe but that's okay. Cool spot, really bummed I didn't get any alligator pear matchbooks though, super sad about that. Great bartender service on the day I went, super friendly guy.

We hosted our company holiday party in their upstairs private room. Coordination and communication prior to the event was spectacular. Once we got to the event, the managers and the team were amazing. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. The food was a hit and the cocktails were an even bigger hit! The space is beautiful and they are super flexible with your party ideas. We really enjoyed our time and I will continue to book here!

This is cute place in midtown with Pulsd deals. The rib eye and fries are so good. The service was great. Came with a bottle of wine. I highly recommend

The restaurant is beautifully decorated. When we walked in the hostess sat us right away. Our waiter was super nice. For appetizers we got the ARANCCINI Black Truffle and the GRILLED ALLIGATOR SAUSAGE Mashed Potatoes, Mushroom Demi, Pickled Red Onions. Both apps were amazing. For the mains we got the BLACKENED SALMON which was cooked to perfection. My friend got the A BLUE GNOCCHI which was really good. The sauce was great. Last dish we got was the SHRIMP ALFREDO, again the sauce was excellent. As a side we got the CAULIFLOWER GRATIN, also really good. I'd definitely return. The bar is really pretty if you want to get a cocktail before dinner.

Social media got me here but the decor and vibes def made an impact. I found this place on a foodie's IG post and I bookmarked it for a while. A Pulsd deal came up and I HAD to grab it. It's an amazing deal - worth every dollar. It comes with a bottle of wine, an app, two entrees, and a dessert. There aren't many waiters/waitresses so it took some time in between each dish but it's fine - we were able to enjoy each other's company and take our sweet time. Very easy and straight forward service and menu and each dish was good. We got the tuna tartare, the blackened salmon, the spicy calabrian pasta, creme brulee cheesecake, and a bottle of cava. Tuna Tartare: It was fine but I would not order again. Chips were stale but the amount of tuna and avocado was suffice. Appreciated the amount of lime, seasoning, and radish accoutrement. Blackened Salmon: Came with roasted tomatoes and potatoes, salad, and béarnaise sauce. The salmon was moist and the skin was crispy. Lemon was grilled and added a lot of zest. The potatoes and tomatoes were at a great balance and carb proponent to the dish. Creme Brulee Cheesecake: Amazing. Came with salted caramel ice cream which balanced the sweet and dense nature of a cheesecake. Overall, worth a visit. Would come again!
